im doing multistep equations and i dont know how to do negative 49 =6c-13-4c please help!!

We need to get it alone by using inverse operations and adding like terms. :) 6c and 4c are like termsso first we'll do 6c - 4c which is 2c. Now, our equation is -49=2c-13. Now we want to add 13 to both sides. That gives us -36=2c. And lastly, to get the c alone, we will divide both sides by 2. -18 = c Hope this helps! :) Any questions?
