Please someone help, been stumped on this question. Thanks. Given that the length of the semi-axes are a=4.5 and b=2.3, complete the following: a. Write the equation of the ellipse, taking the origin at the center of the ellipse. b. Graph the equation.

OpenStudy (perl):

the equation of an ellipse is x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1 , where a = length of semi major axis, b = semi minor axis

OpenStudy (perl):

that is using the center as the origin

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x^2/20.3 + y^2/5.29=1. How do I graph the equation?
