What do you need help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh. I have no clue! Sorry!

geerky42 (geerky42):

Smaller rectangle has area \(A = lw\). According to given scale factor, length and width of bigger rectangle have to be three times as bigger as length and width of smaller rectangle. so you have \(A'=(3l)(3w)=9lw\) So area of bigger rectangle is 9 times as bigger as area of smaller rectangle. And you are given that area of smaller rectangle is \(8m^2\) Multiply it by 9. That's your answer.

so... 72?
