Could I have some help with Graphing and Solving Inequalities? I'm in 8th grade.
me
K would you possibly have a skype so I could contact you easier?
I could help! :) I'm great with solving inequalities.
It's 5 questions long. I really struggle with it though. :(
Are you graphing on a line or on a carteasian plane?
\(\Huge\scr\color{magenta}{I'll~be~glad~to~help!}\)
It's not actually physical graphing.
Ok the first one is: m-7<6
What is the question?
Could you screenshot your page possibly ?
It just says solve each inequality
Alright - sure! :)
Solving inequalities is almost the same as solving equalities. The one differnce is if you divide or multiply through with a negative then the direction of the inequlity changes.
First, let's work on the left hand side of the inequality, the m-7. This means, for instance, to see if it can be simplified at all. M-7 evaluates to M-7. So all in all, the left and side of of your inequality can be written as 6.
Now, lets' work on the right hand side of your inequality. The 6. The right hand side of your inequality can simply be written as 6. So with these simplifications the inequality will turn out as: m-7<6. So we move the 7 to the right hand side by adding 7 to both sides - like this: The left hand side: -7+7=0 The answer is m. To the right hand side: 6+7=13 The answer is 13. Now the inequality reads: m < 13 so this anwser is the final solution to this equation.
