Help, NOT ANSWER. I don't understand much how to compare the slope of 2 functions, can someone explain how to me because i don't get how and need some feedback.

Nnesha (nnesha):

what you mean like do you have question with it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do but i just want some explanation on how to compare functions not necessarily on my question, hope you can help

Nnesha (nnesha):

if you give math problem so may be i can see and explain :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well.... hmm

Nnesha (nnesha):

if you have negative slope of function its gonna decrease and if you positive slope that should be increase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like i have to make a line and find the slopes of the 2...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they give me an equation and x and y values and I have to make their lines and compare their 2 slopes

Nnesha (nnesha):

ok so do you have two order pair right>??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they give me 4 ordered pairs on a graph and I need to make a line from the table and then they also give me an equation to also make a line on the graph for and once I have the 2 lines, I need to compare the slopes of the 2 functions.

Sorry for writing sooo.. slow, I just have my head in the clouds, thanks for trying to help me anyways... because mostly everyone is used to a question to just solve and you took the time to get out of the comfort zone and try to help, I'll give you the medal for your time and effort anyways. =)

Nnesha (nnesha):

ok so you have to use this formula to find slope by using two order \[m = y _{2} - y _{1}/ x _{2} - x _{1}\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

no its ok i can help tho

Nnesha (nnesha):

i feel happy when i really help people than i feel really happiness of medal too :) :) :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh, the point slope intercept form, yeah that helps a lot because I was not sure what to do exactly. That beings me to a start. You are really helpful! Anything else you want to add? If not, thanks sooo much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

begins*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

brings* uhh...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=/

Nnesha (nnesha):

ok that good to hear you can start now if you have question just let me know :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for the medal and I'll keep in touch for anything I need!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bye!!! =)

Nnesha (nnesha):

:)

Nnesha (nnesha):

ok @kayleeneedshelp
