hello i have a question about proportions it is not so easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is it?

myininaya (myininaya):

figure out what fraction of minced lamb you have given what is required

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess i have to add the ingredients 450g + 900g + 75 g but what i must do with 300ml ? it has different units

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 1 }{ 450 }=\frac{ x }{ 300 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ow solve for x and you have your porportion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the proprtion is the same for the other ingredients right?

myininaya (myininaya):

then you can figure out how much you need of the other ingredients by taking that fraction and multiplying it to the other requirements for each ingredient to figure out what we need of each ingredient given we only have the 300g

myininaya (myininaya):

of minced lamb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The proportion would be the same for each ingredient

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant the other ingredients must be in the same proportion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks so much i understand now thanks @nelsonjedi thanks @myininaya i will leave now thanks so much

myininaya (myininaya):

fraction you need to multiply to each ingredient is indeed \[\frac{minced lamb you actually have}{minced lamb you are required }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i got it @myininaya :)

myininaya (myininaya):

ok coolness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks
