Help, NOT ANSWER.They gave me a table with time (x) and displacement (y) and there are 5 ordered pairs in the table and I need to find the table's y-intercept, what is the procedure to get the table's y-intercept? Please help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The y-intercept is a constant, as in never changing, so just find the variable that is constant in each equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

displacement is the movement from one point to the other, compared to a previous position.

I have 5 ordered pairs and so how do I find the function y-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think you can post the graph on this feed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a table, can i message it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

Read: You can find the y-intercept by looking at the graph and seeing which point crosses the y axis. This point will always have an x coordinate of zero. This is another way to find the y-intercept, if you know the equation, the y-intercept is the solution to the equation when x = 0.

Ohh.. i got it now! Thanks! Gave you a medal!
