The graph of f(x) = x2 has been shifted into the form f(x) = (x – h)2 + k: https://vcsohio.brainhoney.com/Resource/22138800,AB4,0,B,4/Assets/71832_53b5a5fc/0300_g16_q4.jpg What is the value of k? (1 point)

@Hero help meh

@Haseeb96 @ParthKohli @sidsiddhartha

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

y=x^2 goes thru origin right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

now according to the graph it is shifted to (4,5) ok?

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

so new equation of the curve will be\[y-5=(x-4)^2\\y=(x-4)^2+5\]so comparing with the equation gives \[h=4,k=5\] got this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

=)

Thanks bunches cx
