Well in an isosceles triangle, the angles at the base of the triangle are congruent and the sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 so you can makes two equations. So the third angle(at C) is called C. Thus you can say that 8x+10+14x-8+C=180

For the second equation, in order to solve for x, you can say 14x-8=8x+10 Solve for x, substitute into the first equation and solve for C
