Help m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need help please :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also if you could help me with more??

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

Well I think yo need to determine which angle is the largest, smallest and middle. use angle sum of a triangle A + B + C = 180 so 8x -2 + 2x - 8 + 94 - 4x = 180 this simplifies to 6x +84 = 180 now solve for x. substitute back into each angle to find there measure and then rank them smallest to largest then use the diagram to get the sides |dw:1416089424056:dw| use the 2 letters of the side opposite the angle... and apply to the angle ranking. longest side is opposite the largest angle shortest side opposite the smallest angle. hope it helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i still don't understand.... :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=16 and then i don't understand what you mean to do the rest

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so solve the equation for x... as the 1st step 6x + 84 = 180 what is the value of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

16

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so angle A = 8*16 - 2 = 126 angle B = 2*16 - 8 = 24 angle C = 94 - 4*16 then |dw:1416089732900:dw| so rank the angles A B C what sides are opposite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

???

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

oops reverse the order for shortest to longest Angle Side opposite B = 24 C = 30 A= 126

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be AB,AC,BC???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did I get it right??
