Susan makes a claim that humans do not evolve because we adapt to situations by changing our technology, not ourselves. Which piece of evidence contradicts this idea
caucasians can digest dairy products because ancestors like 10.000 years ago didn't stop drinking milk. ages of diarrhea all over the board. thank you, ancestors! also, putting a fur coat on your skin makes your own fur kinda redundant. apart from that, susan's statement is comparing apples and oranges. evolution happens in a whole different timeframe than technology. changes in DNA take many many generations worth of time, while the spread of a new technology usually takes less than one generation. it is worth mentioning, though, that evolution can also happen on a social level. if he who influences the gene pool of the next generation most is especially funny/intelligent/hairless (and these attributes are thought of as attractive for a few generations), then the population will evolve in that direction, even though none of these traits actually benefit the survival rate of that person.
