Hey guys kinda stuck on this t or f question. True or False: In a normal distribution where the mean is 50 and the standard deviation is 5, you can use a normal curve table to find the relative frequency of observations where x = 42. True. False.

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

is it false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk thats y i posted it for help...

OpenStudy (perl):

you can't find relative frequency at exactly a point, because the area under the curve is zero at a point

OpenStudy (perl):

you can only use normal curve to find relative frequency for an interval , like 40 < x < 42

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

the words confuseth me ditto what perl said
