it really depended on the tribes. Some tribes were more aggressive then others. Some probably thought lets try to be friends and help eachother while others were probably more stubborn and were like this is my land get off. They also had to be very strategic because their weapons were no where near the Europeans. Some tribes stole from them while others traded with them. This is how some native americans got guns and horses. They did not trust each other even if they were a tribe who was friends. They needed to be on there toes. They did have one advantage and that was there knowledge of the land.
