PLEASE HELP ME What caused the Western Roman Empire to fall? There was no single cause, and no sudden fall. Rome’s decline took place over many years, and was the result of many factors. Write a short essay that briefly describes the factors that led to the decline and fall of the Western Roman Empire.

The fall of Rome was definitely an ongoing process, which lasted more than a century. Factors such as lack of leadership, invading barbarian tribes, economic trouble of citizens, and cultural corruption play a big role in the fall of Rome. The empire had become too large to control, so leadership lacked. Invading tribes such as the Visigoths sacked many parts of Rome. Poor management of economy, the dole, and hoarding led to financial problems. Millions were spent on food and entertainment. Looting treasure and trade deficit caused economic decay.
