@dan815 @nincompoop @mathgirl2012 please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is standard fourm again??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so... you take the formula and distribute\[y+9=-3x+6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all I did was distribute one of the numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

than you subtract 9 from either side and you get.. \[y=-3x+6-9\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Than simplify \[y=-3x-3\] That is your final answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you
