Urgent *will medal*: Check: Commercial airlines typically follow a practice of overbooking flights, accounting for a certain percentage of passengers that decided not to fly at the last moment. If historically about 5% of passengers on a flight from Boston to New York do not show up, how many tickets would the airline sell on a plane that seats 360 people? Answer: 5/100 = 0.05. 0.05(360) = 18 tickets. Thanks c:

Well you would actually add 18 to 360 because the airline is selling 18 additional tickets, but other than that you are correct. Assuming 0.05*360 is 18
