HVave to do a speech about cotsa rica teacher said to add interesting facts. can you check it please?
Costa Rica became a country in 1821. Costa Rica, which is slightly smaller than Lake Michigan, is located in Central America bordered by Nicaragua to the North, Panama to the southeast, and Pacific Ocean to the West. Costa Ricans refer to themselves as “Ticos” and “Ticas” male and female, and they call foreigners “Gringos” and “Gringas”. Most Costa Ricans aren’t very tall, so their furniture is 6-8 inches shorter than furniture in the U.S. Names are confusing in Costa Rica. Ticas, or girls, don’t take their husband’s last name. She uses her full maiden name for life, and adds her mother’s maiden name. Children take their fathers name. This makes it easier for them because they don’t have to change ID cards, driver’s licenses, and so on. Costa Rica has 121 volcanic formations, but only 7 of them are active. Costa Rica has a 96% literacy rate, so in very poor and rural areas, they teach classes over a national radio station for kids who can’t go to school. Costa Rica had a female president, Laura Chinchilla. Something I found interesting is that apparently it’s not uncommon to see people walking around with a machete in Costa Rica. Machetes are the considered the Costa Rican equivalent of duct tape. Until a few years ago, wearing shorts was a sign of disrespect, and pedestrians are called targets. But overall Costa Rica a very beautiful country with thousands of different species, and beautiful exotic plants. I would love to take a trip there someday.

-instead of "6-8", it should be "6 to 8" -in "Costa Rica had a female president,-" it should be "They also had a female president,-" because you are naming the subject to much - in "Until a few years ago, wearing shorts was a sign of disrespect, and pedestrians are called targets.", it should be "Until a few years ago targets, or pedestrians, wearing shorts was a sign of disrespect." so that the small fact can be slipped in that is all from me :3 the rest looks good!
thnx for the medal :3
awesome thanks!
