Please help! Is it Okay to Uninstall 'Extra' Versions of Microsoft Visual C++?
If it's just the different IDEs that you're no longer using or just don't use you can get rid of them just be careful of any libraries that you might be using from them, but if that were the case you probably wouldn't be asking.
Do you mean the actual Microsoft Visual C++ IDE or the runtime modules?
Microsoft Visual C++ IDE @e.mccormick
If you do not need old versions of the development tools, it can save a little space to remove them. As 114Bytes pointed out, there might be issues with special libraries if you added them. Also, if they do manage to tweak sme share file somehow, you might need to reinstall/repair the newer one to fix it, but that is about the worst that should happen.
ok thanks
