the torndado was issued here 10 minutes ago, everything is still and kindav green, my dad is worried, how do i try and stay calm/ :(

well take deep breaths, and close your eyes, i know it sounds crazy but it helps. and may i recommend staying away from heavy furniture and electrical stuff?

ok ok ok well when i was younger at my old school we practiced thgis u go into a area without a lot of windows and get under a sturdy object

oh and make sure u have like water and stuf and batterys and stuff like that since u r like in your house i would reccomend if yall get an tornado alert to get a bunch of pillows and blankets and go to a sturdy place!!!!!!!!!!! like a closet

One more thing: Staying calm is important in times like this. So if what i suggested earlier doesn't help try occupying yourself to take your mind off of it. You could make sure you have flashlights, water, and other supplies needed!

@nermaljean99 yes that is always a great idea i hate the thought of tornados and stuff so if i have something to keep my mind off something for a while it really helps !
