Interviewee Name: Age: Gender: Job: Date and time of interview: What are some major health concerns that you have? Are there ways that you know you can prevent these health concerns (or other concerns like obesity)? If you need to find out more about a specific health issue, what do you do? Please be specific. (Don’t let them say “look on the internet”, because we have already learned that not everything on the internet is reliable! They should tell you a specific site if they use the internet as a source.) What do you think is the biggest health concern facing our country? What are some things that you do to help monitor your health? How do you monitor your food and water intake now? How would you help get the word out about this lifestyle change? How do you think the media influences what concerns we have for our health?
Lauren Ouellette 17 Female N/A 11/17/14 2:23 1. Being over a healthy weight. 2. By eating healthy and exercising. 3. I look around and research healthy eating and exercising and ask my doctor what I should do. 4. I think the biggest health concern would be obesity, and it's our own fault. Fatty, unhealthy burgers cost less than a healthy salad. If you have little to no money you tend to lean towards getting the cheaper things. 5. I drink lots of water before a meal so that when I eat my meal I'm eating a healthier amount. Eating slower helps too. 6. I have two glasses of water per meal. One before, eat slowly, and then another. 7. I would tell them what has worked for me and that they should ask their doctors whats best for them. 8. I think the media is more focused on Celebrities and Politics than they are with obesity.
