1. If a pea plant’s alleles for height are tt, what is true of its parents? (1 point) A.) Both Parents are tall. B.)Both parents are short. C.)Both parents contributed a recessive allele. D.)Both parents contributed a dominant allele. 2. A tall plant (TT) is crossed with a short plant (tt). If the tall F1 pea plants are allowed to self-pollinate, (1 point) A.)the offspring will be of medium height B.)all of the offspring will be tall C.)all of the offspring will be short. D.)the offspring can be tall or short

3. When Gregor Mendel crossed a tall plant with a short plant, the F1 plants inherited (1 point) A.)one allele from each parent. B.)two alleles from each parent. C.)three alleles from each parent. D.)four alleles from each parent. 4. If one individual is Tt and another individual is tt, which of the following is true? (1 point) A.)The two have different genotypes and the same phenotype. B.)The two have the same genotype and the same phenotype. C.)The two have different genotypes and different phenotypes D.)The two have the same genotype and different phenotypes. 5. Segregation of alleles means that (1 point) A.)two alleles representing the same gene remain paired when gametes are formed during meiosis. B.)two alleles representing the same gene separate when gametes are formed during meiosis. C.)two alleles representing the same gene remain paired when body cells are formed during mitosis. D.)two alleles representing the same gene separate when body cells are formed during mitosis

Post 1 question per thread. So lets think this through, for the first question. Your allele is tt, so that means your both parents must of had one "t" to give you "tt" So that means the answer is C, both parents contributed a recessive allele. one question per thread please. close this one and open another one. @kaylee99
