For the love of god someone Help please, will give medal 4. The population of a city increases by 4,000 people each year. In 2025, the population is projected to be 450,000 people. What is an equation that gives the city’s population p (in thousands of people) x years after 2010? p = 4x + 50 p – 450 = 4(x – 15) p – 15 = 4(x – 450) p = 4x + 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is confusing the h*ll out of me, but i can tell you its not A because the number 15 has to be in there somewhere (2025-2010) and thats the only one without 15 in it

OpenStudy (romantic_ch3micals):

ikr, I hate this problem...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and its not D because where tf did the number 4 come from

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

how many years after 2010 is2025?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if i had to guess id say B but im only about 70% sure lol

OpenStudy (romantic_ch3micals):

15

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ok, so now, whaqt should p = in 2025?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

what*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you think about it C doesnt make any sense because why would it be p-15 (people minus a number of years) and x-450 (years minus people) equations dont work like the people should be with number of people, and years be with number of years, if that makes any sense

OpenStudy (romantic_ch3micals):

sorry, stupid laptop. I have to exit out and log back in everytime I reply. sucks right? anyway...yea ill try B

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

well, if ya wanna know how to doit, i'm walking you through...
