Why did the public fear early unions? A. Workers made unreasonable demands. B. The unions were organized by agents working for foreign governments. C. The public believed that the unions were in favor of radical ideas. D. The public did not want workers to have decent wages.

I believe it's C. Unions were a scary thing in the Industrial age, because Union workers demanded higher wages, and lots of reform. There were also workplace strikes, and occasional riots. I'm not sure if that is the correct answer, but it seems to be the best one out of the four :)
