Please help! Will fan and medal! Swahili Kongo Great Zimbabwe explain at least one important political, one social, and one economic feature you observed in each of the three places you visited. I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything.

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

Did you "visit" the places?

So, that seems to be the place to look it up. I haven't read your text but I'll give it a shot.

You are probably asking about the Swahili Coast. It was a group of city-states the conducted trade with Arabs and others across the Indian Ocean. It was there that the Swahili language developed. It is Bantu with a lot of Arab loan words. Because of trade, the cities were more diverse than other areas of Africa. Lots of Arabs and other folk mixing in with the Bantu/Swahili people.

Would that be considered political or social?
