i know how to figure out the triangle just not the missing angle it wants. The angle missing in the triangle is 28.

ok so now we knnow the missing angle above is 28 degress notice that, that 28 degrees angle is the "alternate interior" angle to "x" http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/parallel-lines.html <--- scroll down and click on "alternate interior" button there, then you'd see what "x" is :)
