Do you think the Puritan beliefs would be successful if they were introduced in the 21st century rather than the 16th century ? Why ?

I think not because a lot of people are against religion in this century. I think for some people it may be a belief system they would adopt, but many people would be against it. Especially considering the way the Puritans pushed their beliefs. I myself am Jewish, but many of my Christian friends are against that kind of religious extremism. ***If this is for a test or homework I would suggest researching this topic by yourself so you understand the answer.***
