Say you took warm water heated to about 75 degrees Celsius and placed it in a styrofoam cup and measured the temperature before the placing of ice in the cup. Then you took ice in a paper towel and measured the mass of it and the paper towel, then you placed the ice in the cup. When the ice was melted the temperature and mass was recorded, how would you find the heat of fusion? The data you recorded was the mass of calorimeter mass of calorimeter and warm water temperature before adding ice mass of ice and paper towel mass of paper towel temperature once ice has melted mass end This experiment is repeated four more times (five times total) You have to use graphs and slopes from graphs to figure the heat of fusion.
