Directrix (directrix):

If two prisms are similar, then the ratio of corresponding sides is the scale factor. What does 6/9 = 8/12 = 4/6 simplify to? @annabug

OpenStudy (annabug):

6 / 9 is 0.6 right?

OpenStudy (annabug):

well they all are actually.

OpenStudy (annabug):

so is the ratio 0:6 because I have to write it as one?

OpenStudy (annabug):

@Directrix

OpenStudy (annabug):

hello?

OpenStudy (annabug):

I'm confused as what to do next...

Directrix (directrix):

You have the answer: 6/9 which is the same as 8/12 as 4/6 when simplified. 6/9 =2/3 which is not the same as .6. 2/3 = .666666..... repeating. Do you have decimal or fractional answer options?
