easy please help! medal and fan!! Ingrid needs to paint her bedroom walls. The room is 9 ft tall by 12 ft wide and 11 ft long. It has a door that is 7 ft tall by 3.5 ft wide and two windows 3.5 by 3.5 feet that don't need paint. How many gallons of paint should Ingrid buy if 1 gallon covers 102 square feet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9* 12 *11 /102

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what grade is this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but what about the rest of the question?? :c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know I will I just want to know what Grade it is

OpenStudy (demonchild99):

ok...first calm down.....find out how mant square feet the entire room is

OpenStudy (demonchild99):

and then subtract the amount of feet the windows and door is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh hmm ok

OpenStudy (demonchild99):

then divide by 102 ft

OpenStudy (demonchild99):

i think @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the area is like, length times width right? so 12 * 9 is 108? im really not sure but i think thats what the area of the room is
