Is this correct...y-coordinate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x-(x+6)=-21 x=-9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-9+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i made mistake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x-x-6=-21 so x=-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So y=-3+6= 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You cant plug the x into the other equation because that's where you plugged in the y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So y = 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IF you have a graphing calculator you can set both equations to y = ? and graph them both, the interception will be the solution set.

Thank you very much @RyleeC
