What happens during cytokinesis in an animal cell

this is suppose to be in the biology section! and the answer is: cytokinesis pinches off the cell right before they break into two. the cells each will get an even amount of cytoplasm and whatnot, but the main role is that it really pinches off the single cell into two daughter cells.
