GRRRR!!!! WHEN I POST A QUESTION IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET A RESPONSE!! CAN WE PLEASE WORK ON THAT!!!!
I don't understand what you mean.
Lets be serious for a moment. What subject are yo uasking in?
when i ask a question it takes days for people to answer it!
That is not a glitch.
http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5457b179e4b07e447428dcfd and there are different ways to get people to help you on a question, you can pm some one that has helped you before or even post the link to your question in the chats to ask for help
^^^ @Werewolfprincess How can we work on that? We??
You still haven't responded to me -- what subject are you asking in?
You need to understand that a question you post, won't 'always' be answered. Most users won't answer it 'cause its difficult, or maybe they don't want to, due to laziness. Make sure to keep that in mind.
@Werewolfprincess
@Compassionate It is Math. *Was looking thorugh asked question*
Yes, getting people to use the site as intended rather than sit in chat is a problem. =/
Hey, but we're not complaining. OpenStudy has a social aspect, I just feel it's too heavily levied. A good portion of questions do get answered, however. In your case, it's what we call, "unfortunate happenstance."
i'm with comp on this one!
WWP seems to have gone offline in frustration due to the early spamming of her feedback. While I have deleted the spam, it does show one of the real problems in feedback. Posts here have been getting spammed a lot recently. So rather than getting help, feedback is becoming a chat room.
@Werewolfprincess is online...
Ah, and now she is online again.
yes thank you for deleting the spam
Also everyone on here volunteers their tome to help people... Not even mods get paid...
time*
yes and I appreciate that very much.
You also need to remember it's volunteer work, no one has to answer your questions if they don't feel like it. Also if you want legit help, you can always tag users, but if you've been around here for a while, you'll notice the more difficult the questions the more work the tutors will require you to show (though I like to see the user do this for even simple questions, and it's unfortunate people still tend to give direct answers for these questions).
I'm really happy I foud this site
*thats found not foud
So my suggestion is, ask as many questions as you like, but also put effort in showing where exactly you aren't understanding that way it will attract more people to help you because you're taking time to show your work.
It's uncommon for Math, but it happens. I thought you may have been asking in one of our "dead" sections. In that case, tag users and ask around. Best of luck
okay thanks!
