OpenStudy (studygurl14):

adjective phrase again. meaning modifying a noun. so you can eliminate B and D, because gathers is a verb, not a noun.

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

And it can't be C because "gathers many acorns" does not modify squirrels. It tells what the squirrel is doing. So C is out too

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

What's left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so is it D

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

i just said that you can eliminate B and *D*

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

so...no

OpenStudy (studygurl14):

Only A is left. Can I have my medal now? @ugghskool
