The passes through points (0,-1) and (-6,3), so... y = mx + c For the fisrt pair: -1 = m*0 + c For the second pair: 3 = m*(-6) + c From the first equation, we get c = -1, plug that in the second equation: 3 = -6m - 1 m = -2/3 So the equation of line is y = (-2/3)*x - 1
