i used desmos.com to graph the line..then took a screen shot of the line in Q III and drew a traingle....

I'm getting -0.4472135955 as well, round that to get -0.4472

an alternative is to find the point of intersection between 2x - y = 0 and x^2 + y^2 = 1 in Q3 (the x coordinate of the point of intersection)
