Terry says that if an object has no acceleration, then no forces are exerted on it. Sherry doesn't agree, but can't provide an explanation. They both look at you. What do you say?

There are forces exerted on it, if you have a book on a table, it has no acceleration. But there is the normal force and gravity still exerted on it. Hope that helps.
