Why Do So Many Native English Speakers Write "your" When They Mean "you're"?
A lot of people don't know the difference between the two, or get confused on what the two mean. Your means it belongs to you, and you're means you are.
And like me i know the difference between the two but since i just say "your" all the time and ive been saying it since i was little i just think your. To write "you're" i have to say the words you are in the sentence (as a replacement) in order for me to realize hey you're spelling it wrong.
Since it is often taught very few times at a young age, it is not always memorized or understood. Many people are just too lazy to write out "You're" instead, they write "Your". Sometimes folk are on their cell phones and it auto corrects tot he wrong one sometimes.
Your means your and you're mean you are.
because it is easier at times .
