Which sentence is a run on? A. When I was picking apples off the tree at dusk, a deer stood at the edge of the orchard. B. There were big, dark clouds in the sky, on our way home, buckets of rain and hail fell the whole way.

I think its B is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B, because you notice that at one point the subject changes in the sentence. Plus, by naturally reading it, you can tell that that sentence goes on a little too long, right? One more way to tell is if you can make a sentence with the part in question, completely isolated. Hope this helps :)
