@abb0t
Scale drawings of?
Pierce works at a tutoring center on the weekends. At the center, they have a large calculator to use for demonstration purposes that is a scale model of calculators available for the students to use. Each key on the student calculators is 18 millimeters wide, and each key on the demonstration calculator is 3.6 centimeters wide. If the student calculators are 250 millimeters tall, how tall is the demonstration calculator? 9 meters 50 meters 0.036 meter 0.5 meter
okay, do you want a straight answer or how i did it?
both please.
@SneliS
Okay i got 50 meters I took 18 and i divided it by the 3.6 and got 5 so i took 5 and divide 250 by the 5 and naturally got 50
im not saying im right haha but that is my best guess
@Demonx341 give me the reading ones
I am finishing this first lol.
._. it was not 50.
it was 0.5
First, set up a proportion to find the height of the demonstration calculator in centimeters. Next, convert 50 centimeters to meters. Therefore, the demonstration calculator is 0.5 meter tall.
Sorry :/
Delisa is designing a website that will be viewable on both computers and mobile devices, so the website as it is seen on a mobile device is proportional to the website as it is seen on a computer. The diagonal of Delisa's computer monitor is 21 inches, and the diagonal of Delisa's tablet is 9.4 inches. If an image is 20 centimeters wide on the website when it's displayed on Delisa's computer, how wide should the image be on the tablet? Round to the nearest tenth of a millimeter, if necessary. 1.1 millimeters 446.8 millimeters 1,670 millimeters 89.5 millimeters
i would say D
