After being rearranged and simplified, which of the following equations could be solved using the quadratic formula? a; 2x^2-6x-7=2x^2 b; 5x^3-3x+10=2x^2 c; 2x^2-3x+10=2x+21 d; 5x^2+2x-4=2x^2

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well start by rewriting the equations with all terms on the left hand side for example... d. subtract 2x^2 from both sides 3x^2 + 2x - 4 = 0 if you do that you'll find you can eliminate 2 equations... leaving the 2 solutions. and the quadratic formula only works with equations where the highest power is 2 hope it helps
