undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

In which scenario would mitosis be least desirable in terms of a species' survival? A species has little energy to devote to reproduction A species is unable to travel far to find a mate A species has to adjust rapidly to a changing environment A species is preyed upon by numerous successful predators

undeadknight26 (undeadknight26):

OpenStudy (abhisar):

You did :p Yes, mitosis does not lets diversificatio to happen, in the case of changing environment, the species needs to produce diversification so that they could possibly adapt to the new scenarios. Meiosis will be the most suited in this case.
