They do not just have it public to prevent cheating. They have teachers from the online school systems as moderators. Those people can see evited and deleted posts and activly work on catching cheaters. This has resulted in people being flunked in a class, suspended from school, and expelled. So when people use OS to cheat, they really are taking some big risks.

As for the medal party stuff, the responses go from anywhere from having the posts and medals deleted on to the admin solution: wipe all medals and smart cents for a person.
