OpenStudy (justuu):

Medal and fan for help please help. How did Washington trick the British in New Jersey? He crossed the river. He set up camps. He kept fires burning. He went to the supply line.

OpenStudy (bunnyzrockgirl):

Washington left a few men behind to keep feeding the campfires so they would continue to burn brightly. Washington's army departed in the middle of the night. Washington's army stayed away from the main road and took a secondary road around the British to Princeton.
