What is the LCD of 1/3 and 3/4?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

an integer that can be divided by 3 and 4 and give an integer back \(\bf \square \div 3="something"\qquad \square \div 4="\textit{something else}"\qquad \square \impliedby LCD\)

OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

i dont understand @jdoe0001

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

LCD or Least Common Denominator for the fractions will be a number, that's bigger or equals to the denominators so your denominators are 3 and 4 so a number that's greater than both, or equal... in this case, to both so a number that is divisible by 3 and divisible by 4

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

for example if you had 1/2 and 1/4 the lcd would be \(4\div 2=2\quad 4\div 4=1 \impliedby\) that means, 4 is divisible by either 2 or 4, thus is the LCD

OpenStudy (rainbow_dashie):

hmm
