Max planck statement

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So Planck suggested that there is a minimum amount of energy that a particular frequency of EMR can transfer to the matter I want you guys to see if my interpretation of this is right: so lets say you have a black body object. and a specific EMR at a particular frequency, lets say microwaves, is being absorbed. So because EMR is also energy the black body is absorbing energy. SO "minimum amount of energy" means that it can only absorb so much and then it will stop absorbing so therefore the intensity of the EMR will decrease after it hits its minimum amount. am i correct? if not where and explanation please
