Sure, no problem! Hope you're feeling better! I'm impressed you're learning about this in fourth grade, I didn't learn this until I was 16. Okay so the modulus function essentially makes negative numbers positive. So |-2|=2, |-4|=4, |-475|=475, |0|=0, |23|=23... are you with me so far?
