Question about titles and smartcents

I'm working towards the 3000 medal title for math. I also want to get the first title for english. Will getting the title for english affect the number of medals i have towards earning the honoary professor of mathematics title, or are different subjects smartcents unrelated?

sorry if the question is worded confusingly...

smartcents are spent when buying a title...
if you unlocked the 50 medaled title
then want to get the 3000 title
you can access it when you get 3000 medals in that subject
but you will at this point need a total of 3050 smartcents overall to get it

I was only mentioning the 50 and 3000
but yeah if you wanted all three then 3550
