For @sangya21 I'll be helping you. Sorry. I'm so late. y=|x| and y=|x|-5 How are the 2 functions related.

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

We know that the difference between the two is the -5.

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

The second equation has -5, making the y-intercept and equation lower.

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

Let y=|x| be f(x) and y=|x|-5 be g(x)

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

So: f(x)=|x| and g(x)=|x|-5

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

You will realize that: g(x)=f(x)-5

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

They are related in that g(x) is 5 less than f(x).

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

@sangya21 My new OS account is @GreenCat plz tag him if you have questions. Thnx ^_^
