Two mechanics worked on a car. The first mechanic worked for 15 hours, and the second mechanic worked for 5 hours. Together they charged a total of $1875 . What was the rate charged per hour by each mechanic if the sum of the two rates was $205 per hour?

use the rule of ratio so between both mechanic they had 5hr:15hr further simplifed to 1:3 this means the mechanic who worked for 5 hours get 1/4 share of $1875 charged and the mechanic who worked for 15hrs get 3/4 of $1875 charged
