2^4=16 16^(1/3)=cubic root of 16 dont write 3 square root 16 plz, since it means that you take the square root and then multiply it by 3.

The square root of 8 is 2 square root 2. Then, when you divide by 2 you are left with square root 2. Hope this helps.
